“Remind Me”

The world has gotten busier. We can barely fit sleep into our daily schedules. The projects at work, balancing the bills, getting your dry cleaning - the list is endless. It’s understandable to have overbooked yourself for the day and forgetting you made plans with someone. But telling someone to remind you about meeting them… I just think that’s a big no-no. It makes the other person feel like you’re really not interested (maybe that’s the point), but if that’s the case than be honest about it.

I’ve been learning a lesson or two from Lynn about giving someone the benefit-of-doubt. Sure, maybe he’s really busy. So completely busy that they can’t look at the calender, say “yes, I’m free” or “no, maybe later”, and mark the date. Oh how much time I wasted doing that, uhh 3 minutes? 4 tops?

I am not a secretary. I am not your secretary.

So taking a firmer stance, I’m not going to remind you. Because I shouldn’t be treated like this, because no one should be treated like this. And quite frankly, your just being an ass. If you really need to be reminded about something, let me remind you this: that you missed out.
